For one of our most cherished team members at Fast Bagel, the journey has been exactly that. A mother of three—18, 17, and 9—Sandra Beebe has spent years showing her children what dedication truly looks like.
“My kids have seen their mother get up and go to work early in the morning since they were little,” she shares.
Like many working mothers, the early years weren’t easy. Balancing work, home, and raising three children came with its own struggles. “At the beginning, I struggled with maintaining balance and finding the right resources,” she recalls.
But everything changed when she found Fast Bagel.
“It wasn’t until I found employment at Fast Bagel that I was able to provide a better life for my children.”
And her children noticed. They didn’t just watch—they learned. Her work ethic became their inspiration, pushing them to aim higher in school and in life.
A True “Home Away From Home”
For nearly six years, Fast Bagel hasn’t just been a workplace—it’s been part of her family’s story.
“My kids call Fast Bagel ‘home,’” she says with a smile.
From sick days to holidays, her children have grown up around the warmth of the store. Today, that bond runs even deeper—two of her children now work alongside her across different locations.
“All of us enjoy being part of the Fast Bagel family.”
And like any family, there are their favorites:

And when they’re not up for a full sandwich? “They’ll snack on sweets or grab something from the chip rack—there are so many options for a growing family!”
The Superpower of Balance
Being a mother means wearing multiple hats—often all at once.
“Making dinner alone takes concentration, timing, and effort,” she explains. Add household chores, grocery runs, and raising children, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.
Her secret?
“Everything has to be done in the proper sequence, and everything should be done to the best of one’s ability. Keeping cool and keeping on is the key.”
It’s a mindset she carries both at work and at home—a quiet superpower that keeps everything moving.
A Mom-Approved Creation (With a Twist!)
If her family had to be described as a bagel?
“A jalapeño bagel—because we all like it a little spicy,” she laughs.
Layered with ham for the jokes, egg for the running gags, and cheese for the dad jokes—it’s the perfect reflection of a family built on love, laughter, and a little bit of chaos.

What does she hope her children take away from this journey?
“That hard work does pay off. Every goal is achievable—you just have to put in the effort.”
